Limpopo Province
The Limpopo province was named after the great Limpopo River that flows along its northern border. The province shares borders with Zimbabwe in the north, Mozambique in the east and Botswana in the west. The Limpopo province is world renowned for its rich cultural heritage, wildlife, hunting and spectacular scenery.

Marakele National Park
Marakele National Park is located in the south western section of the Waterberg Mountains within the Limpopo Province, and as its Tswana name suggests, it is a “Place of Sanctuary”.

Marakele is home to most of the large mammals synonymous with the African bush, including Elephant, Black and White Rhino, Buffalo, Leopard and Cheetah. The park is also home to many antelope species including, Sable, Kudu, Eland, Impala, Waterbuck, Tsessebe and many smaller species.

The park is also home to one of the largest colonies of Cape Vultures, over 800 breeding pairs. Other birds species found in the park are Jackal Buzzard, Gymnogene and several eagle species including Black, African Hawk, Black Breasted Snake and Brown Snake Eagle.

Pilanesberg National Park
Pilanesberg National Park is located in the Bojanala Region of the North West Province. The park exists within the transition zone between the dry Kalahari and wetter Lowveld vegetation, commonly referred to as “Bushveld".

The Pilanesberg National Park has in excess of 7,000 animals including Africa's "Big Five” - Leopard, Elephant, Black and White Rhino, Lion, and Buffalo.

Other game species in the park include Giraffe, Zebra, Hippopotamus, Cheetah, Crocodile, Waterbuck and Impala along with many other species.

With over 300 bird species recorded in the park, bird watching is also a highlight to your visit.
